We continue the year-round concert series in the framework of Academia Sighișoara, in partnership with the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy of Cluj, starting from November 17, 2015.
The third year of our partnership project between the Association Cultura Viva (Bern) and the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy (Cluj) will debut with a concert titled Contemporary Harmonies. The music academy's two chamber ensembles, the Ad Hoc Ensemble (Aurelian Băcan - clarinet, Eva Butean - piano, Radu Dunca - violin, Ovidiu Costea - viola, Vlad Rațiu - cello) and the Clarinetfest Ensemble (clarinetists Emese Madaras, Flavius Trif, Răzvan Ciorbea, Aurelian Băcan, Victor Tobac, Mihai Toader) will perform works by George Enescu, Geroge Balint, Ulpiu Vlad, Béla Bartók, Adrian Pop, Doina Rotaru and Nicolae Brînduș.
