Academia Sighisoara is an international festival and summer academy for young musicians from all over the world. A place of encounter and interchange, a platform for contemporary art in the heart of Romania. The Festival takes place between the 1st and 10th of August each year.

Dear friends of Academia Sighisoara

We learn to live with the coronavirus pandemic. Conferences, trade fairs, concerts, festivals and sporting events are canceled, in large parts of the world. Nobody knows how long the lockdown will last. It could be months rather than weeks. In the crisis, speed and decisiveness are required.

Due to the Coronaviris pandemic, we cancel Academia Sighisoara 2020 in full.

We remain confident and look forward to see you again in 2021. Thank You for understanding and maintaining contacts on other channels.
